Dessie Ovelia Manning 
Dessie Ovelia was born on May 24th, 1898 in Coryell, Co., Texas.1 Dessie Ovelia's father was George Washington Manning and her mother is Susan Elizabeth Davis. Her paternal grandparents were James Duncan Manning and Martha Jane Graham. She had three brothers and eight sisters, named Luther Allen, Charles, Robert Alvin, Hattie Florilla, Iva Dell, Alzoria Palmaria, Susane Elizabeth, Lottie Mae, Effie Edna, Essie Ethel and Mordie Esta. She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 82 on February 18th, 1981 in Coryell, Co., Texas.1 General Notes
