George Lankford 
George was born in 1848 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 George's father was Benjamin D Lankford and his mother was Mary Ann Eliza Cherry. His maternal grandparents were William Cherry and Frances Taylor. He had six brothers named William, James, Thomas, Richard, Wingfield and Joseph Allen. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named James Hobson. He died at the age of 47 in 1895.1 General Notes
