William Lankford 
William was born in 1837 in WARREN COUNTY, KY.1 William's father was Benjamin D Lankford and his mother was Mary Ann Eliza Cherry. His maternal grandparents were William Cherry and Frances Taylor. He had six brothers named James, Thomas, Richard, George, Wingfield and Joseph Allen. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named James Hobson.1 -
