Peter Sylvester was born on October 18th, 1861 in Coryell Co., Texas.1 Peter Sylvester's father was Josiah Sylvester Lamb and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Blackwell. His paternal grandparents were Alva Anderson Lamb and Sarah Jane Graham. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Alva Anderson, Lydia J., Margaretta, Louisa Ann, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Rebecca. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Walter C., Josephine, Lourie and Ira. He died at the age of 80 on December 10th, 1941 in Gotebo, Kiowa Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
