Mary Elizabeth was born on December 12th, 1857 in Springfield, Greene Co., Missouri.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was Josiah Sylvester Lamb and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Blackwell. Her paternal grandparents were Alva Anderson Lamb and Sarah Jane Graham. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Peter Sylvester, Alva Anderson, Lydia J., Margaretta, Louisa Ann and Sarah Rebecca. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Walter C., Josephine, Lourie and Ira. She died at the age of 91 on May 12th, 1949 in Trousdale, Pottawatomie Co., Oklahoma.1 General Notes
