Robert Francis Kirkland 
Robert Francis was born on July 25th, 1845 in Tennessee.1 Robert Francis' father was William (Bill) Kirkland and his mother was Sarah Smith. His paternal grandparents were Zachariah Kirkland and Elizabeth Harris; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Smith and Ann Unknown. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Caroline, Anthony, James Hilory, Leroy (Lee), Adelia Delilah and Arminta. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 74 on March 21st, 1920 in Grandview, Johnson Co., Texas.1 General Notes
