George Jackson Keahey 
George Jackson was born on September 12th, 1834 in Alabama.1 George Jackson's father was George Burder Keahey and his mother was Margaret Keahey. His paternal grandparents were James Keahey and Mary Jane Jackson; his maternal grandfather was George Keahey and his maternal grandmother is Sarah McFarland. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Flavil, James Alfred, Samuel Newell, Martin Elijah, William Samples, Mary, Sarah Jane and Margaret Ann. He died at the age of 28 on February 17th, 1863 in Cherokee Co., Texas.1 General Notes
