Samuel Higginbotham 
Samuel was born in 1745 in ,Amherst, Va.1 Samuel's father was Aaron Higginbotham and his mother was Clara Graves. His paternal grandparents were John Higginbotham and Frances Riley. He had a brother and four sisters, named Aaron, Frances Graves, Tamasin, Mary Ann and Margaret. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 58 in 1803 in ,Elbert, Ga.1 General Notes
