Absalom Higginbotham 
Absalom was born on May 2nd, 1780 in ,Amherst, Va.1 Absalom's father was Aaron Higginbotham and his mother was Nancy Croxton. His paternal grandparents were Aaron Higginbotham and Clara Graves. He had a brother and five sisters, named Aaron, Elizabeth, Sarah, Nancy, Clara Graves and Joannah Croxton. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 86 on July 2nd, 1866 in ,Amherst, Va. He was buried in Higginbothamcem, Amherst, Va.1 1 General Notes
