Jeptha Harrington 
Jeptha was born in 1775 in Union Co., South Carolina.1 Jeptha's father was John Harrington and her mother was Frances Birt. Her paternal grandparents were Charles Harrington and Agnes Hill. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Harvey, Young John, Birt, Beersheba, Rhoda and Abel. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 43 in 1818.1 General Notes
