Birt Harrington 
Birt was born in 1790 in Union Co., South Carolina.1 Birt's father was John Harrington and his mother was Frances Birt. His paternal grandparents were Charles Harrington and Agnes Hill. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Harvey, Young John, Beersheba, Jeptha, Rhoda and Abel. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 82 in 1872 in Colvert Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
