John Grigsby 
John was born on November 1st, 1852.1 John's father was Thomas Moody Grigsby and his mother was Emily Euphemia Smith. His paternal grandfather was James Butler Grigsby and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Ann Moody. He had ten brothers and two sisters, named Richard A., James M., Thomas Moody,Jr., William, Benjamin Fitzpatrick, Samuel, Smith, Robert, Rhydon, Joseph, Rush Behathla and Griezzie E.. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 69 on June 10th, 1922.1 General Notes
