Amey Green 
Amey was born on February 29th, 1720 in Raleigh , Amelia, Virginia.1 Amey's father was William Green and her mother was Amey Clay. Her paternal grandparents are Thomas Green and Martha Filmer; her maternal grandparents are Henry Clay and Mary Mitchell. She was an only child. She died at the age of 88 in 1808 in Charlotte Co. , Virginia.1 General Notes

Amey and Edward were married in a religious ceremony on April 6th, 1746 in Luemburg Co., Virginia.1 They had six sons and ten daughters, named Edward,Jr., Arthur, Hillery, William, William, Thomas, Mary, Martha, Mary, Tully, Rebecca, Amey, Elizabeth, Rebecah, Sarah and Letitia.
