Tempia E. was born on July 2nd, 1843 in Benton Co., Arkansas.1 Tempia E.'s father was Nelson Reed Graham and her mother was Susan Louisa Landers. Her paternal grandfather was Peter Graham and her paternal grandmother is Nancy Rachel Tate. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Silas Marion, William C., Peter G., Elias S., Nancy, Lucinda, Cassia, Sarah, Elizabeth, Talitha Cumi, Deborha T. and Mary Frances. She was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 53 on March 28th, 1897 in Benton Co., Arkansas. She was buried in Phillips Cemetery, Benton Co., Arkansas.1 1 General Notes
