Her paternal grandparents were John Conner Graham and Miriam Helen Gore. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William Davis, John Marsdell, Samuel Tilden, Albert Anson, Thomas Julian, Dillon Lorentus, Marvin Helen, Pheriba Ann, Sarah Jane, Mattie Pauline and Julia Porter Gertude.
