She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Cornelius J., Lewis Thomas, Evander, Daniel, William, David Walker, Alva, Waterman, Covington, Florence, Laura Jane and Melia A.. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 54 on July 11th, 1909 in Horry Co., South Carolina.
