Lula Ailean was born on August 7th, 1904 in Clay Co., Alabama.1 Lula Ailean's father was William James Foster and her mother was Mary Cornelia Keahey. Her maternal grandparents were Willis Chalmers Keahey and Sarah Jane Greene. She had a brother and four sisters, named Henry Sylvester, Maude Lee, Clara Mae, Janie and Nina Belle.
