William Engle

William was born in June 1885 in Kentucky.¹ William's father is Henry,Jr. Engle and his mother is Polly Ann Combs. His paternal grandfather is Henry Engle and his paternal grandmother was Leanna Grigsby; his maternal grandparents are Jackson C. Combs and Mary Young. He has two brothers and four sisters, named Jason, Harvey, Angeline, Mary A., Armelda and Hala. He is the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Malando.
