Alexander H. was born on December 6th, 1835 in BRECKINRIDGE CO. KY.1 Alexander H.'s father was Littleberry Dowell and his mother was Sarah Payne. His paternal grandparents were Micajah Dowell and Frances (Fanny) Meador. He had five brothers and four sisters, named George, Riley, James Corbett, John Wesley, Ezra, Mary "Polly", Nancy, Eliza Jane and Manervia. He died at the age of 91 on October 14th, 1927 in BRECKINRIDGE CO. KY.1 General Notes
