James Corbett Dowell 
James Corbett was born on November 15th, 1829 in BRECKINRIDGE CO. KY.1 James Corbett's father was Littleberry Dowell and his mother was Sarah Payne. His paternal grandparents were Micajah Dowell and Frances (Fanny) Meador. He had five brothers and four sisters, named George, Riley, John Wesley, Alexander H., Ezra, Mary "Polly", Nancy, Eliza Jane and Manervia. He died at the age of 69 on November 10th, 1899 in BRECKINRIDGE CO. KY.1 General Notes
