Beakenfield DeSpain 
Beakenfield was born in 1886 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Beakenfield's father was William Henry DeSpain and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Warren. His paternal grandfather was Joseph DeSpain and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Morrison; his maternal grandparents were Elzy Warren and Virginia Young Salsman. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Alfred F., Daniel Webster, Anthony Milton, Sophia Ann and Charlotte. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 16 in 1902 in Green Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Despain-Thompson Cemetery, Green Co., Kentukcy.1 1 General Notes
