Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Warren and Mary Elizabeth Hilbern; her maternal grandparents are Jacob David Salsman and Rutha Young. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert Wesley, Joseph Daniel, Christopher Ceasar, Ezekiel, Ruth A., Mariah Ellen and W. Jemima. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Mary. She died at the age of 75 on April 1st, 1932 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.
