Alonzo DeSpain 
Alonzo was born on March 14th, 1878 in Lower Brush Creek, Green Co., Kentucky.1 Alonzo's father was William Perry DeSpain and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Warren. His paternal grandfather was Peter DeSpain and his paternal grandmother is Unknown Possible Granddaughter; his maternal grandparents were Hezekiah Warren and Mary Polly Skaggs. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John William, Lindsey Hezekiah, Elzy Franklin, Alfred Thomas, Ezekiel Z., Mary Susan, Nancy Ann, Malinda J. and Movenia. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 91 on December 27th, 1969 in Higgenson, White Co., Arkansas.1 General Notes
