Her paternal grandparents were Milas Alexander Davidson and Dovey Robison. She had a brother and six sisters, named Milus Marion, Mary Maude, Minnie A., Zora Bell, Effie E., Dovie Sarah and Pearl. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 74 on September 25th, 1955 in Troy, Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.
