Laban Combs 
Laban was born on October 17th, 1907 in Ritchie, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Laban's father is Cleveland Combs and his mother is Sarah Jane Ritchie. His paternal grandfather was Jeremiah Combs and his paternal grandmother is Rosanna Engle; his maternal grandparents are John Ritchie and Synthia Hall. He had a brother named Alvin. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 3 on September 16th, 1911.1 General Notes
