Emory Gause Burgamy 
Emory Gause was born on November 25th, 1849.1 Emory Gause's father was John Burgamy and his mother was Martha Davis Peurifoy. His paternal grandparents were William, Jr. Burgamy and Margaret Leggett; his maternal grandparents were William Peurifoy and Mary Brothers. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Tillaman Peurifoy, William Thomas, Eli, John C., James Whitfield, Matthew C., McCarroll, Archibald Filmore, Mary Frances, Martha Jane and Piercy Ann. He died at the age of 57 on September 14th, 1907.1 -
