Rosie Boykin 
Rosie was born on October 4th, 1903 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas.1 Rosie's father was Scion Andrew Boykin and her mother was Melissa Adeline Tumlinson. Her paternal grandparents are David Edward Boykin and Margaret Ann Zumwalt; her maternal grandparents were William Pytus Tumlinson and Mary Ann Boykin. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Chapple David Franklin, William Lee, John Eujeen, Frances Jane, Mattie Ellen, Mary Theodocia and Bettie Mae. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 78 on March 20th, 1982 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas.1 General Notes
