John Eujeen Boykin 
John Eujeen was born on September 3rd, 1899 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas.1 John Eujeen's father was Scion Andrew Boykin and his mother was Melissa Adeline Tumlinson. His paternal grandparents are David Edward Boykin and Margaret Ann Zumwalt; his maternal grandparents were William Pytus Tumlinson and Mary Ann Boykin. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Chapple David Franklin, William Lee, Frances Jane, Mattie Ellen, Mary Theodocia, Bettie Mae and Rosie. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 94 on May 12th, 1994 in Texas City, Texas.1 General Notes
