Frances Jane Boykin 
Frances Jane was born on September 23rd, 1883 in Gonzales Co., Texas.1 Frances Jane's father was Scion Andrew Boykin and her mother was Melissa Adeline Tumlinson. Her paternal grandparents are David Edward Boykin and Margaret Ann Zumwalt; her maternal grandparents were William Pytus Tumlinson and Mary Ann Boykin. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Chapple David Franklin, William Lee, John Eujeen, Mattie Ellen, Mary Theodocia, Bettie Mae and Rosie. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 67 on July 6th, 1951.1 General Notes
