Edwin Edmunds Bouldin 
Edwin Edmunds was born on March 31st, 1838 in Charlotte Co. , Virginia.1 Edwin Edmunds' father was James Wood Bouldin and his mother was Almeria Kennon Read. His paternal grandparents were Wood,Major Bouldin and Joanna Tyler. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert Jouett, Powhatan, Louis Contesse and Harriet Ann. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Samuel Goode, James, Thomas Tyler, Joanna Tyler, Elsie and D. M.. He died at the age of 74 on October 29th, 1912 in Danville, Virginia.1 General Notes

ed m a nd he was again seriouldy wounded at the crossing of the Potoma
c, hear Ha gerstown. He was taken prisoner at Moorfield, in 1864, and he
ld in the Ca mp Chase Ohio prison for eighteen months. He was enchag
ed in 1865, and co mmanded his regiment from Five Forks untill the surrend
er. He then engag ed in law practice in Danville. In 1902 he was a memb
er of the state Const itutional Convention .
