He died on April 26, 1710 inCecil Co., Maryland. William Bould
in I I, as we shall call him, was born about 1650 and accompanied his fa
th er in their migration up the Chesapeake to Maryland. There he to

ed land on a nd near the Sassafras River and Bohemia River, adjacent to th

rior to maki ng his will in 1671. The land owned by Augustine Herman numbe
red 30, 000 a cres and ws deeded to his by Lord Baltimore for services ren
ered in the su rvey of disputed boundaries between Maryland and Delawar
e. William marri ed Sarh Gold and had four children, Sarah, William, Dani
el and Jo hn It is possible that he married a second time to Rachel Lewi
s, but no pr joof exists of any children resulted form the union. Howeve
r, Two of his g randsons gave the name "Rachel " to thier children suggest
ing that Rach el may have been the mother of one or more of his childre
n. In a land pate n, a Thomas Morrell got 150 acres at Abingdon Parish, Gl
ocester County, Vi rginia by Lewis Burwell, Benjamin Clements, and Lauran
ce Smith. The acrea ge was part of the 300 acres given by William Bouldi
ng to Racyhel, his th en wife for life, and to one Morgan Lewis, his hei
rs and assigns forever-- -" by deed dated March 14, 1670. The expression "
his then Wife" , impli es that he was married more than once and the da
te of the deed, 1670, wou ld indicate that his son William would have be
en their child in common. Ra chel is known to have been alive as late as 1
683 as another deed is record ed showing she sold 150 acres of that la
nd to Thomas Morrell on April 1 6, 1683. He was married to Sarah Gold in Q
