Oscar Blanton 
Oscar was born on March 11th, 1898.1 Oscar's father was Beverly Alonzo Blanton and his mother was Lillie Day Basham. His paternal grandparents are John Webster Blanton and Mary Ellen Minton; his maternal grandparents were Hartwell Belvy Basham and Mary Catherine "Katie" Crume. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Harlan, Luther Edward, Roscoe, Cordie Ellis, Lauranie, Rosie, Ola, Zola, Bessie and Living. He died at the age of 80 on August 22nd, 1978.1 General Notes
