Winnie Mae Belt 
Winnie Mae was born on December 30th, 1908 in Wallis, Austin Co., Texas.1 Winnie Mae's father was Walter Edwin Belt and her mother was Winnie Allen. Her paternal grandparents were William Edwin Belt and Sarah Sophronia Harry; her maternal grandparents were Miles Johnson Allen and Nora Weaver. She had a brother and a sister, named Walter Edwin,Jr. and Dorothy Allen. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 71 in April 1980 in Houston, Harris Co., Texas. She was buried in Brookside Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
