Roy Lynn Bassham 
Roy Lynn was born about 1903 in Tennessee.1 Roy Lynn's father was Rufus Lycurgus Bassham and his mother was Mattie Louella Harrison. His paternal grandparents were James Monroe, Jr. Bassham and Susan Frances Legg. He had six brothers and a sister, named Benton Lafayette, Thomas Lindsey, Daniel Lee, Grady Lycurgus, Louis Edward, Velma Leona and Lilly May. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
