Laudis Bassham 
Laudis was born on December 26th, 1900 in Bonham, Fannin Co., Texas.1 Laudis' father was Henry Lansford Bassham and her mother was Fannie 'Ida' Pettitt. Her paternal grandparents were Francis Marion (Frank) Bassham and Louisa Lucretia (Lucy) Popnoe. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Eugene Malcom (Gene), Jack Foster, Ralph Whitfield, Willie Belle, Stella Mae and Mary Alice. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 72 on February 23rd, 1973 in Abilene, Taylor Co., Texas.1 General Notes
