William Robert was born about 1908 in Ray Co., Missouri.1 William Robert's father was James Clayton Basham and his mother was Barbara Emaline Griffey. His paternal grandparents were Wiley Wessley Basham and Mary Lucinda Thomas. He had four brothers and a sister, named Clarence Russell, Floyd, George Dewey, James Raymond and Mary L..
