William Pleasant Basham 
William Pleasant was born on October 16th, 1883 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 William Pleasant's father was Manoah Washington Basham and his mother was Willie Rosetta Tucker. His paternal grandparents were Manoah Stone Basham and Elizabeth Armes. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Alzo Washington, Alva Stone, Bertha Freeman, Cora Bee and Nora Lee. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 15 on April 20th, 1899.1 General Notes
