Bertha Freeman Basham 
Bertha Freeman was born on December 7th, 1884 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.1 Bertha Freeman's father was Manoah Washington Basham and her mother was Willie Rosetta Tucker. Her paternal grandparents were Manoah Stone Basham and Elizabeth Armes. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William Pleasant, Alzo Washington, Alva Stone, Cora Bee and Nora Lee. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 85 on September 30th, 1970.1 General Notes
