Mary Jane was born on March 11th, 1881 in Copperas Cove, Coryell Co., Texas.1 Mary Jane's father was William Jonathan Basham and her mother was Loanzi Adelade Drummond. Her paternal grandfather was John (Sequatchie) Basham and her paternal grandmother is Molly Unknown. She had two brothers and a sister, named John Henry, William Oscar 'Willie' and Levina Catherine 'Katie'. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died about 1955 in Rockwall, Rockwall Co., Texas.1 General Notes
