Mary J. Basham

Mary J. was born in 1844 in Alabama.¹   Mary J.'s father was James Hogan Basham and her mother was Lucillian 'Lucsey' Unknown.  Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Basham and Elizabeth Hogan. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Jonathan J. (Jack), Jacob W., George Jasper, Claborn C. J., Aron King, David M., James William Ellen, Beulah Elizabeth, Francis Emily, Martha A. and Lucy Palistine.  She was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. She had a half-brother named James Alexander.  She died at the age of 49 on August 9th, 1893 in Morgan Co., Alabama.¹
