Jesse James Basham 
Jesse James was born on August 20th, 1901 in Rosine, Ohio Co., Kentucky.1 Jesse James' father was Samuel Logan Basham and his mother was Mary Frances (Mollie) Wilson. His paternal grandparents were Allen Dowell Basham and Malinda DALTON. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Ivy Murray, Payton, Frances D, Alva Ray, Andrew Logan, Octava, Emily Bessie and Alma Rose. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers named William Allen, Charles Luther and Ernest Everette. He died at the age of 59 on November 3rd, 1960 in Liberty, Liberty Co., Texas.1 General Notes
