George Leo Basham 
George Leo was born on October 13th, 1915 in Eureka, Greenwood Co., Kansas.1 George Leo's father was David Walker Basham and his mother was Katherine Genevieve Daily. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Claiborne Basham and Helen Josephine Haddock. He had five brothers named David Walker, Jr., Francis Claiborne, John Henry, Charles Edward and James Joseph. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 57 on January 12th, 1973 in Poplar Bluff, Butler Co., Missouri.1 General Notes
