Clara Burgess Basham 
Clara Burgess was born on August 2nd, 1912 in Butler Co., Kentucky.1 Clara Burgess' father was Granville Simpson Basham and his mother was Nevada (Vadia) Raymer. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Wesley (Rev) Basham and Martha (Mary) Jane Williams. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Genie Mckay, Edna Duane, Ruby Maddox, Ambia Irene and Moody Woodrow. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had two half-brothers named May and Pearl. He died at the age of 75 in 1987.1 General Notes
