Anna Mae Ella Allen 
Anna Mae Ella was born on October 17th, 1897 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.1 Anna Mae Ella's father was George Washington Allen and her mother was Georgia Allie Dora Modisette. Her paternal grandparents were Harmon Holcombe Allen and Sarah Frances Modisette. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Warren Dewey, James Byron, Era Leona Bell and Nellie Faye Charlotte. She was the oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 54 on March 17th, 1952 in Houston, Harris Co., Texas. She was buried in Walker Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
