Nellie Faye Charlotte was born on December 9th, 1911 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.1 Nellie Faye Charlotte's father was George Washington Allen and her mother was Georgia Allie Dora Modisette. Her paternal grandparents were Harmon Holcombe Allen and Sarah Frances Modisette. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Warren Dewey, James Byron, Anna Mae Ella and Era Leona Bell. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 82 on December 23rd, 1993 in Lufkin, Angelina Co., Texas.
