Ira Alexander

Ira was born about 1896.¹ Ira's father was Alfred Alexander and her mother was Mary Olena (Ollie) Basham. Her maternal grandparents were Wesley Houston Basham and Harriet Anna Eliza (Ducky) Norris. She had three brothers and a sister, named Harvey, Oliver, Alvin and Annie Ophelia. She is the second oldest of the five children.
