Mary Olena (Ollie) was born on January 24th, 1875 in Hico, Hamilton Co., Texas.1 Mary Olena (Ollie)'s father was Wesley Houston Basham and her mother was Harriet Anna Eliza (Ducky) Norris. Her paternal grandparents were Zedekiah Basham and Sarah Frost. She had five brothers and a sister, named James Allen, Houston Oliver, Harley Olen (Twin) (Bunch), Wesley Oley (Twin) (Samp), Euby and Ella Zona. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 83 on November 9th, 1958 in Smackover, Union Co., Arkansas.1 General Notes
