Elizabeth was born on September 16th, 1295 in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England.1 Elizabeth's father was Gilbert "Sir" De Clare and her mother was Joan Plantagenet. Her paternal grandparents were Richard "Sir" de Clare and Maud de Lacie. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Gilbert, *son, Margaret and Alianore. She had two half-sisters named Elizabeth and Isabel. She died at the age of 65 on November 4th, 1360.1 General Notes
