John Thompson

John was born on May 4th, 1820 in Clarke Co., Georgia.¹ John's father was John Thompson and his mother was Nancy Haygood. His paternal grandparents were John Thompson and Susannah Lea. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Middleton, Robert, Benjamin, Mary M., Susan, Matilda, Ann Tinsey Nancy, Elizabeth and Francis. He died at the age of 41 on September 7th, 1861 in Union Twnshp, Highland, Ohio.¹
