Nathaniel Muncey 
Nathaniel was born about 1718 in Kent Co, Delaware.1 Nathaniel's father was FRANCIS H. Muncey and his mother was ABIGAIL M. Skidmore. His paternal grandparents were JOHN Muncey and HANNAH Brewster; his maternal grandparents were JOHN Skidmore and SUSANNAH Davis. He had four brothers and three sisters, named SAMUEL, Thomas, John, Francis, Hannah, Ann and Belliharen. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died in 1811 in Little Creek Hundred, Kent, Delaware.1 General Notes

Nathaniel Muncy was a native of Delaware, lived through life in that state, and must have attained to a very advanced age, probably near a hundred years. As he was born early in the eighteenth century and lived far enough into the nineteenth for me to be fully aware of his being still living after my remembrance, I am under the impression his death did not occur previous to 1810. The Muncys were a numerous family during the last century and must have emigrated to this country at an early period.
